Nearly perfect, but lacked communication

Overall a good experience with DIY Transport as well as Lindsay, the customer service representative I dealt with. Pick up was on time and delivery was ahead of schedule. Cross country in 5 days. Vehicle arrived in the same condition that it left in. DIY wasn't the lowest quote I received, but also wasn't the highest. Delivery was to my son in the Marine Corps. I stressed that good communication with him would be critical to arrange for delivery, However, I had to initiate all contact with the carrier (Armando Automotive). If it wasn't for my intervention I believe the delivery would have been problem. Fortunately, my son was able to make different arrangements at the last minute and take delivery. With proper communication from the carrier I could have easily given 5 stars. I would definitely use DIY Transport again.
