The second time around was a breeze. I put in the bid in the morning, was assigned a carrier within hours, and the car was one its way by late afternoon. Shockingly, the car was in AZ three days later, a full four days before the expected delivery. It wasn't perfect - driver called me instead of the recipient, wouldn't deliver to the location (the front gate of a military base), and drove into and then away from the arranged alternate. Luckily, my daughter saw the car on the truck and simply followed the truck back out of the arranged meeting spot and into another parking lot nearby. All in all, this was a breeze.
To be totally fair, this was my second try. A few weeks earlier, I bid on the same exact journey and then waited a week. Nothing. Called in to add money. Still nothing. After another few days, I simply cancelled it and tried again. Much better the second time.
