Absolutely the last time I will ever use Estes! I ship new and used outboard motors all over the country. I had a used 2017 300hp Mercury and a new 300hp motor, still under warrantee, shipped from Wisconsin to Florida. They dropped the crate with the one year old 2017 motor off the forklift. They did not deny it. The motor is worth $15-$16,000. The total damage was about $3500. I even refused the order and the driver noted the damage. They said it would sit at the warehouse, so I had them bring it back to sit at my shop. I did not want them to damage it furthur. They came back and since it was technically "used" They decided to be real generous and say they would pay 10 cents a pound, $59! I can't believe no one can take responsibiliy for something like this. DON'T EVER use Estes if you expect them to take care of your goods. It's just "Oh well, here's your $59".
