My daughter, thankfully, decided to move back home to the San Francisco Bay Area after three years in Chicago. I was worried about her safety, as she would be driving her 16 year-old Toyota Tacoma by herself. The truck had made it to Chicago three years earlier, but had struggled through the Rockies, and there was the added security layer of traveling with a friend. So I convinced her to fly home and I would have her truck shipped. Ship a Car Direct was the first company I contacted, and I felt good about them, but decided I'd be stupid to not at least check out the competition. After contacting several other companies and reading extensive online reviews, I came back to Ship a Car Direct and gave them my business. Other outfits offered more for less, but left me feeling suspicious and uncomfortable. I contacted Renee again and once again hung up the phone feeling comfortable and confident. After pinning down the pickup date, I booked online and it was smooth sailing rom there. Renee was patient and informative, the short video clips by the owner, on their website, were very helpful, the information after booking was timely and informative, and the company delivered on every promise made.
