We had to ship our Santa Fe Spot from Los Angeles to Chicago. I did some research and we decided to try AmeriFreight. Luckily, I was paired up with Harry Davis, who was super friendly, explained the whole process (since this is the first time we had to ship a car), and provided great follow-up. We were aiming to have the car shipped Oct 15-16, but the transportation company whose quote we went with (Gigi Freight) ended up giving us a call on 10/12 to see if we could do 10/12 or 10/13 instead. We had already arranged a rental car until our flight on 10/18, so we called to make sure we could pick up our rental early. We could and so they picked up our car on 10/13. Our driver Mike was very communicative and kept us informed about when he was arriving, where to meet up, and they were able to take Zelle for the payment (saving us a trip to the bank). We were able to pick up our car on 10/19, which worked out perfectly. He took ample pictures when picking up and dropping off my car, and sent them to us. I took photos, too, but not as many as he did. The car arrived in great condition, just with more bugs on it from a cross-country drive, which is to be expected.. Our price ended up being right in the dollar range Harry gave us on our initial call, and it was great not to have any surprise fees. Overall, even with having to get our rental car a little earlier than expected, it was a great experience with AmeriFreight, and I'd recommend them if you need to ship a car.
