Great service, bad transporter

I would refer ship a car direct to anyone needing to ship a car, with one caveat - do not use Green Way if you can help it. Their customer service sucked, as they refused to allow me to write on my BOL on delivery. They also pushed us to drive 40 minutes away to pick up the car, with the excuse that bridges prevented them from coming any closer to the destination, as was originally agreed upon on pickup. At the time he picked up the car, the transporter kept going on about how dirty the car was, and said that for that reason, he would not be able to fill out the pickup sheet regarding the condition the car is in. It was so bizarre, as the car had just been freshly washed. I don't know if he was drunk, but he just came across as belligerent during every interaction. There was more, but at this point it's not even worth mentioning.

It went better than I expected it to, as my 2 previous car shipping experiences were not good. In summary, go with SACD, but ask to be switched to a different carrier if you get assigned to Green Way Inc.
