Better than expected

Overall, the experience was better than expected. While my quote was a bit more expensive than what others were offering, I decided to go with Ship a Car because they had the least terrible reviews. Angela, my primary contact, was pretty informative and usually responded to my questions within 1-2 days, which was sufficient for me. She also continued to follow up with me throughout the transport. Our actual auto transport company, 50 State Auto, also exceeded expectations. Both my pick-up and drop-off drivers were very courteous and professional. Even though the pick-up and drop-off were both on time, I did run into some other issues with timing. I was supposed to get a 24 hour notice before they came to pick up my car, but I only got a 2 hour notice. For drop-off, I got a 24 hour notice that my car was arriving a day before the arrival date I had set (which was an issue since I had not arrived at NC and did not know anybody there to pick up my car). Fortunately, after I explained the situation to the driver, he was able to rearrange his schedule so that my car would actually arrive at the time I wanted. Despite these issues and the fact that my car arrived with a layer of dust on it, both the broker and the shipping company were able to get the job done in a timely and courteous manner.
