Are You KIDDING Me? Too Good to Be True

Went through three different car carrier companies. First one took three weeks and got me nowhere, blaming the weather, the holidays, but continuing to dangle "But we've got out manager on it", etc, etc. Went to a second one, told me the first one was way underbidding the move and it would never sell at that rate, then spent another two weeks waiting on them. Finally, went with Ship a Car Direct, who had the most amount of 5-star ratings that I could find. I was being cheap at first, and it cost me. Spent a little extra, but their people were ridiculously fast. The email barrage came almost immediately, covering every step of the way, and I had a driver within 48 hours. The driver was nothing short of a miracle worker, picking up the car on a Friday and delivering it CROSS COUNTRY on Monday morning. I don't know who they used, but ol' boy was a beast making a 36 hour drive in that amount of time.

I still can't believe I have my car after all this time.

Lesson learned: I ended up having to spend a ton of money on rental cars and Ubers because I was being cheap and didn't just pay a little more upfront to a company like Ship a Car Direct.
