I have used Ship A Car Direct before and have never had a bad experience. This time I had a very tight window for delivery of my Sentra. I used the online tool to place an order and to capture my special needs. I thought that would be sufficient. It wasn't. The transporter I was connected with knew nothing about my very specific delivery window requirement, so when he called for pickup he could not promise to hit my window and therefore canceled my pickup. I contacted David at Ship a Car Direct and was able to explain in detail over the phone my predicament. He responded immediately and was able to locate another transporter who could meet my delivery window for the following week, which was still before my need date. Long story short, the delivery went well and my car arrived in good condition as promised. My lesson learned was to always talk to a person directly when special requirements exist; don't rely on the online tool.
